Teaching
media is a tool used by teachers when teaching to help clarify the
subject matter presented to the students, and prevent the occurrence of
verbal on students.
Teaching
the many uses of verbal, would be boring, otherwise the teaching would
be more interesting if students are excited to learn or happy because
they feel interested and understand the lessons it receives. Thus the learning activities will be more effective.Effective learning must start from direct experience or concrete experience and leads to a more abstract experience. Learning will be more effective if supported by props in the teaching of the unassisted with a teaching tool. So that the learning process can be successful, students should be encouraged to take advantage of all the tools senses. The teacher tried to show stimulus (stimulus), which can be processed by a variety of senses. The more senses that are used to receive and process information, the
more likely the information is understood and can be maintained in
memory.Hamalik (1986) says that the use of the medium of instruction in the
teaching and learning process can generate new desires and interests,
raise motivation and stimulation of learning activities, and even bring
psychological effects on students.Thus, students are expected to be able to receive and absorb easily and good messages in the material presented. To take advantage of all the senses in learning activities needed stimulus (stimulus). While these stimuli can be realized with the use of visual aids in education. Figure in teaching can be called with the medium of instruction.This
is confirmed by Arsyad (2003), which says that, learning and teaching
the use of said medium of instruction is replaced by the term as a tool
of view - hearing, teaching materials, communication point of view

descriptors . Developments
in science and technology increasingly encourage reform efforts in the
utilization of technology in the learning process. Teachers
are required to use the tools that can be provided by the school, does
not rule out the possibility that the tool - the tool according to the
development and tuntuan times. Teachers should be able to use cheap and efficient tool though simple
and understated but a necessity in order to achieve the expected goals
of teaching (Arsyad, 2003).For
that the use of teaching aids, teachers should have sufficient
knowledge and understanding of the medium of instruction, such as what
is conveyed by Hamalik (1994), that the use of teaching aids, teachers
should understand about: (1) the media as a communication tool in order
to further streamline the process of learning teaching,
(2) the function of the media in order to achieve educational goals,
(3) the ins and outs of the process of learning, (4) the relationship
between methods of teaching with media education, (5) the value or
benefit of media education in teaching, (6) the selection and use of
media education, (7) the various types of tools and techniques of media
education, (8) the medium of education in each subject, and (9) the
business of innovation in education.Phenomena
mentioned above, encourage researchers to undertake an action research
(action research) in the teaching and learning activities using the
medium of instruction in class X D. Some reasons for the importance of
teaching media used in teaching and learning activities in this action
research, are: (1)
the medium of instruction students learn will be more concrete and not
verbal, (2) students are more motivated to learn, because the medium of
teaching, learning activities will be more interesting, (3) a more
varied learning activities, (4) students can do learning activities themselves faced with teaching media, and (5) the
medium of teaching and learning activities students will be bringing
students' thinking to everyday life - today.With a class action research conducted by researchers such, it appears some problems in this research activity. Why teaching is very important to use the media in an effort to increase student interest in a series of learning activities? Is the impact of Use Media Teaching Islamic Education by Topic Faith in Angels in learning activities? It is necessary to prove in this action research, particularly in an
effort to increase student interest Class X - D SMA 6 Madiun.
B. Formulation and Restrictions ProblemBased on action research background, Increasing Interest in Islamic
Education Learning by Topic Faith in Angels in Class X - D SMA 6 Madiun
by Using the Media Teaching, several problems can be formulated as

on the problem, it will be confirmed several limitations in this study. Among them:

2. Interest in LearningInterest in learning is a tendency in which a person has the attention
to something and with a desire to know and learn and prove further.Learning interest referred to in this action research is a Class X
student interest - D SMA 6 Madiun, in following the teaching and
learning activities in school.
C. ObjectiveThe
purpose of this action research was to determine and describe: (1) Use
of Media Teaching Islamic Education in teaching and learning activities
can increase student interest Class X - D SMA 6 Madiun, and (2) Impact
of Media Use the Islamic Education Teaching Material Principal Faith in Angels in Teaching and Learning Activities in Class X - D SMA 6 Madiun.
D. Benefits ResearchBased on the formulation of the action research purposes, the purpose of this action research, is expected to benefit:1. Teacher SMA 6 MadiunAs input knowledge to teachers in an effort to increase optimal learning results by using appropriate teaching aids. One is the use of teaching aids, Islamic education with the material

2. Students of SMA 6 MadiunStudents in participating in learning activities not verbal material

teaching-learning process.

E. Hypothesis ActionsBased on the problem in action research, Increasing Interest in
Learning By Using Media Teaching Islamic Education by Topic Faith in
Angels in Class X - D SMA 6 Madiun conducted by researchers, can be
formulated hypothesis is the following:"If the process of learning to teach using the medium of instruction
in delivering learning materials, it is possible interest in learning
and student learning outcomes Class XD SMAN 6 Madiun will be better than
the learning process does not use the media".
F. Scope of ResearchThe
scope of this study is limited to the problem of the impact of Use
Media Teaching Islamic education in teaching and learning activities of
students of Class X - D Class SMAN 6 Madiun against efforts to increase
interest in learning
